The Bible instructs us to be godly citizens and respect the powers that be, even if they are contrary to what we may believe (Romans 13:1-2). However, we can lovingly and respectfully let our voices be heard while we have the freedom.

When Jesus spoke to his disciples during one of His well-known sermons, He used salt and light to illustrate the importance of the role Christians play in our world (Matthew 5:13-16).
Salt and Light is a ministry that allows Christians to live up to the call of being a witness and a testimony for the gospel. We are committed to pray for our leaders (Pastors, City officials, State and National Government), and we are also committed to make the body aware of social and political issues that affect our faith.
